Mythri completed a Masters in Public Health at the University of Toronto, with a specialization in health promotion. She has over 10 years of experience in project management, community development, research and evaluation. Mythri has held research and evaluation positions at The United Way of Greater Toronto, The Evaluation Center for Complex Health Interventions and Durham Victim Services. She has contributed to community initiatives in different areas including health care, human trafficking and homelessness, as well as for different populations, including youth, newcomers and immigrants.
Mythri is passionate about incorporating an equity lens into social programs and initiatives. This includes supporting organizations to understand what may be needed to reach and support equity-seeking groups, as well as the impact of their initiatives on communities that are vulnerable. When not working, she enjoys running, meditation and spending time with her daughter.
